Assignments

Aargh! Gosh I hate them. We have quite a bit of work to do and presentations to give. Most of it is case studies and analysing them. The kids are really good at doing this. They seem to be able to do homework anywhere and at any time, whereas I need to be in a quiet place and really organised. I’ve got a group presentation to do in the next day or so (not sure what day it is anymore – we have classes on Saturday and Sunday as well). We also have a current Event assignment to do where we have to find a couple of news items relating to the hospitality industry and present a synopsis of them followed by questions for group discussion. This is a bit unfair, I think, because we have to pay for our internet access and that is really the only way to find these news articles.
