Shopping!

Have been spending my Sundays at Marion Shopping Centre shopping for bits and pieces for my trip.  Nearly done now, though.  Bought a tiny hair straightener which weighs just about nothing (matches my tiny pink hair dryer).  Probably find I have to leave half of this stuff behind cos it won't fit into my bag (story of my life...)

Had my flu shots today.  Figured that I needed to minimise my vulnerability to succumb to any sort of malaise while I'm away.  Also got a letter from the doc to say that my medications are for personal use.

Hot Spots

Peter and I went to Macca's to test the free wifi reception on Adelle.  It wasn't bad with a couple of dropouts.  Even had to suffer the Big Mac and Angus Burger deals in the process.  Ugghhh!!!

Pandamonium

My friend from Canberra, Maureen, has just flown back home after spending 4 days with us.  She says she came to see us, but really it was the Pandas that enticed her here.  We spent a great day at the Adelaide Zoo on Saturday checking out these terribly cute creatures.  Maureen and I also spent some time plotting our rendez-vous in Zermatt, Switzerland on July 7.
